Refund policy

Refund Policy

Brand new unopened items:

You may return any unopened items for any reason within 30 days. We will gladly give you a full product refund (not including  shipping fees). No re-stocking fees, no strings attached.

Opened, unused items:

If the item is unused, and the original manufacturer seal is open, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee. If the item is damaged during delivery or defective upon arrival out of the box, we will gladly exchange the product. Shipping fees may apply.

How to make a return:

Returning a product is simple. 

  1. Re-package your item.
  2. Call us at 705-586-6453 or email us at warranty@mikescaraudio.com with your intent to return your item.
  3. We will email you back with a Return Authorization number.
  4. Make sure to write down the Return Authorization #  on the outside of the shipping box.
  5. If you are granted a prepaid shipping label, please tape it on the outside of the box.
  6. Any Returns will need to be sent to the following address: 891 Kingsway Sudbury Ontario P3B-2E4.
  7. Make sure to remove or mark over the original shipping label if using the original shipping box.
  8. Drop it off at your nearest Canada post office (if you are granted a pre-paid return shipping label from us).

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please allow up to 5 business days from the time the product has been received by our warehouse for your refund to process.

Return shipping cost:

Damaged or defective right from the manufacturer: You will be granted a pre-paid Canada Post shipping label for your return. Let us know how many boxes you are sending and we will email you a pre-paid label at your convenience.

All other orders: The customer is responsible for return shipping cost. If you would like us to provide you with a pre-paid shipping label, we can send you one with your return authorization number via email at your cost. Costs associated with the return label then will be decided according to the shippers location and current shipping rates.

Refused shipments:

Packages refused for any reason other than shipping damages will be subject to return fees. The fee will be determined by the additional return cost charged by the shipping company.

Damaged shipments or physically damaged items:

If you are to receive your order damaged from the courier, please open, and inspect your product right away and notify us at 705-586-6453 or via email warranty@mikescaraudio.com within 48hrs regarding the damages. We highly recommend you take pictures of the damaged shipping box and the item right away as we will ask you to email us the pictures at your earliest convenience.  

Refunds:

You will receive a refund in the form of a credit to your original payment method within 5 days of us receiving your return. Shipping costs for the original order are not refundable. If you requested a pre-paid shipping label the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
